Tori Smith came to the athletics department in July 2012 as the Athletic Insurance Coordinator, managing the health insurance and medical billing needs for SFA student-athletes.
Prior to SFA, Smith spent three years as the office manager for the Upward Bound programs at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Missouri. From 2007 to 2009, Smith was the Program Coordinator for the Technical Assistance Network at the South Louisiana Economic Council located in Thibodaux, Louisiana. The program provided business training and assistance to small businesses in the region that were affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
Smith graduated from Nicholls State University in 2007, with a bachelor's degree in accounting. She was a four-year letter winner for the Nicholls women's soccer team, garnering first team All-Southland Conference, SLC Newcomer of the Year, LSWA First Team all-Louisiana and Nicholls State Female Athlete of the Year honors during her career.
Smith, formerly Tori Priddy, is a native of Fort Worth, Texas and is married to Jeff Smith, SFA's head athletic trainer.
