Stephen F. Austin Cross Country Teams Compete at Auburn

Auburn, Ala. - The Stephen F. Austin cross country teams continued the 2001 season Saturday at Auburn. The men scored 259 points to record a 10th-place finish. The Ladyjack squad posted 421 points in the 26-team field for a 13th place finish.
The Ladyjacks top finisher was sophomore Ana Rodriguez (Dallas, Texas) who crossed the line with a time of 17:50.13. Rodriguez recorded a 42nd-place finish. The top finisher for the Lumberjacks was sophomore Nathan Flores (Kingwood, Texas) who recorded a 24:49.16 time on the 8,000-meter course for a eighth-place finish.
The SFA harriers return to action Saturday, Oct. 13, to compete in the Texas A&M Invitational.
