RUSTON, La. (AP) - Trina Frierson had 20 points and nine rebounds as No. 16 Louisiana Tech defeated Stephen F. Austin 80-44 Monday night for its fourth straight victory.
The Lady Techsters (6-2) are now 23-5 against the Lady Jacks (0-6).
Frierson connected on seven of eight shots, and was 6-of-10 from the free-throw line. Erica Smith added 14 points, Cheryl Ford 11 and Amber Obaze with 10.
The Lady Jacks held a 22-19 lead with 7? minutes to play in the first half, but Tech went on a 10-0 run on the way to a 35-26 halftime lead.
The Lady Techsters dominated the second half, twice leading by 40 points.
Kim Branch had 10 points and six rebounds for Stephen F. Austin.
