ARLINGTON, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack tennis team lost to Texas-Arlington Saturday afternoon, 7-0. The Ladyjacks are now 6-9 (.400) overall and 3-6 (.333) in the Southland Conference.
The Ladyjacks fell behind 1-0 for the fourth consecutive match, 1-0, after losing the doubles point to the Mavericks. SFA was never able to mount a charge after that, as UTA swept all six singles matches.
The Ladyjacks return home on Monday to close out the 2002 home portion of the schedule against Louisiana Tech. The match is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
