Poulsen Adds Power Hitting Infielder

NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- Stephen F. Austin softball coach Jennifer Poulsen announced today the signing of Tara Hersey to a letter of intent to play softball and continue her education at the university next fall. Hersey, a power hitter, played first base last season at Santa Fe High School in Santa Fe, Texas. She will enroll at SFA in August. She also played summer ball with the Houston Power, winning the 2001 Plantation Rising Stars Tournament.
