
Ladyjacks Travel to Lamar, McNeese State

BEAUMONT, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack tennis team will look to get back on the winning track as they travel to Beaumont, Texas, Saturday looking for their first league victory of the season against Lamar. The Ladyjacks are currently 3-7 (.300) on the season and 0-3 in the Southland Conference. The match against the Cardinals is slated to get underway at 2 p.m. SFA will be in Lake Charles, La., the following day for a match against McNeese State. The match against the Cowgirls is slated to begin at 10 a.m.
Freshman Leadership: Freshman Megan Langston leads the Ladyjacks with a 12-11 (.522) overall singles record this season and 7-3 (.700) mark during the spring season. Langston has really settled in at the No. 6 singles position with a 4-0 record and has won her last five singles matches.
Up Next... The Ladyjacks will remain on the road as they face league-foe Southwest Texas on Saturday April 5th. The match against the Bobcats is slated to get underway 10 a.m. The Ladyjacks will be in San Antonio, Texas the following day for a 10 a.m. matchup with the Roadrunners.
