SFA Basketball Signs Antuane Miller

NACOGDOCHES, Texas-- Antuane Miller, a 6-6 255-pound power forward has signed a letter of intent to play basketball and continue his education at SFA next fall. Miller has spent the past two seasons at the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith and will have two years of eligibility remaining with head coach Danny Kaspar and the Lumberjacks.
A native of Washington, D.C., Miller was an All-City and All-Metro selection at H.D. Woodson High School in the nation's capital while setting the school scoring record. Miller finished his high school career with over 2,000 points scored and was rated among the top-100 players in the metro area. A four year letterwinner for Coach C. Wilson, Miller was voted team MVP and also played in the Capital Classic All-Star Game.
Miller was a two-time all-conference and all-region selection for coach Jeremy Cox at the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith of the Bi-State Conference. He helped lead UA-Fort Smith to a 29-4 record this past season and a berth in the regional tournament finals, where he earned All-Tournament team honors. Miller averaged 13 points and six rebounds per game last season as a sophomore. He shot 48-percent from the field, including 35-percent on three point attempts last season.
"Antuane could be an all-conference player for us. He's a talented front-line player that will help fill the hole left by the graduation of Taylor Moore and Hank Rivers. Antuane is an offensively skilled player and is also a good rebounder," said Kaspar.
