Gabriela Gadeva Earns SLC Academic Honor

FRISCO, Texas - Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack tennis player Gabriela Gadeva was one of 12 athletes named to the 2007 Capital One Academic All-Southland Conference team announced league officials. Gadeva was one of 12 female student-athletes, and one of six sophomores named to the two teams.
Student-athletes must maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade point average, while being a starter or significant reserve on their respective teams. Nominated athletes are also required to complete one full year at their institution prior to the season in which they are nominated.
Gadeva split her time between Nos. 3 and 4 singles where she finished the season with a 6-9 overall record. She also won four doubles matches playing at Nos. 2 and 3 doubles.
