NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Junior Gabriela Gadeva has been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District team for the 2008 women's tennis season for the first time in her career.

The native of Sofia, Bulgaria, was named to the second team in the university division of District 6 and currently holds a perfect 4.0 GPA in Hospitality Administration. She is one of five recipients in District 6 to have a 4.0 GPA in undergraduate studies.

Gadeva is an Academic All-SLC selection and was a key part of leading the Ladyjacks to the SLC Tournament in 2008, picking up eight singles wins and a team-high six doubles victories for the year.
