SFA Men's and Women's Golf Teams Tee Off in the SHSU Harold Funston Invitational

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin men's and women's golf teams are both traveling to Huntsville, Texas to compete in the Sam Houston State Harold Funston Invitational.
SFA men's and women's teams will both be competing against a total of 24 teams consisting of Centenary, Houston-Victoria, Oklahoma City, Texas-Pan American, Texas Southern, Tyler Junior College and Sam Houston State.
The men's event will also consist of McNeese State, Nicholls, Oklahoma Christian and Texas-Brownsville, while the women will add Concordia, Redlands, Saint Edward's and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi to their competition.
The women tee off at 8 a.m. Monday from hole #1, while the men's tee off at 8 a.m. from hole #10.
The tournament will be on the par 71 course at Raven's Nest Club. The yardage for the men will be 6,943 and 6,067 for the women.
The tournament results will be posted following completion of play on www.gobearkats.com each day.
