Ladyjack Tennis Opens Fall Slate In Houston

NACOGDOCHES, Texas – The Stephen F. Austin women’s tennis team will open its fall season on Friday, traveling to Houston for the Solinco Houston Open at host University of Houston.
SFA is one of seven schools making the trip to the John E. Hoff Courts, as No. 23 Rice, SMU, St. Edwards, Lamar, McNeese State, and Louisiana Tech will also take part in the three-day tournament. Matches are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. each day.
The Ladyjacks will play three other tournaments across the fall, before opening their competition season in January. SFA is slated to compete in the Lady Demon Invite at host Northwestern State (Sept. 26-27) and host the Schlief Tennis Invite (Oct. 11-12), before closing out with the Jason's Deli Collegiate Invite in Houston (Oct. 31-Nov. 2).
