Following her graduation from SHSU, Meek transferred to Baylor to pursue a Master's degree in sports pedagogy. While in Waco, Meek continued her success on the track and in the classroom. She was a 2010 All-Big XII and Academic All-Big XII selection, and garnered Big XII Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition.

Meek received her bachelor's degree from SHSU in 2009, and is on pace to graduate with her Master's degree in December 2011.
