Arthur, Ross Advance to NCAA Indoor Championships

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Senior thrower Jon Arthur and junior pole vaulter Colton Ross have advanced to the NCAA Indoor Championships announced the NCAA on its web site late Monday evening. Both athletes enter the championship meet ranked 11th in the nation in their respective events.
Arthur enters the NCAA Indoor Championships after a conference meet that saw him ink his mark as the league's most dominant thrower. Arthur won the Southland Conference Indoor title in the shot put and weight throw this season. He recorded his national mark at the Houston Indoor Invitational with a school-record toss of 63-1.25 in the shot put. The 2013 SLC runner-up in the pole vault, Ross achieved his national mark of 17-10.50 in the season opener in College Station, Texas.
The NCAA Indoor Championships will take place Friday, March 8 through Saturday, March 9, in Fayetteville, Ark.
