    Format:
    Stephen F. Austin State University will be hosting a COLLEGIATE ONLY Meet on Friday, April 4th – Saturday, April 5th, 2014. 

    Teams Who Have Committed to Attend: Alcorn State, Central Arkansas, Houston Baptist, Incarnate Word, Lamar, Louisiana Tech, Nicholls St., Northwestern State, Rice, Southeastern Louisiana, UL–Monroe, UT-Tyler, Wichita State, Southern Arkansas (Distance Only), Texas Southern, Wiley College and SFA

    Important Meet Entry Updates: Due to the size of the meet, the following guidelines will be followed:

    A. Each team may score up to 4 place in each event.

    B. Distance entries are Unlimited for Friday. Only 4 Entries are allowed for inidividual running events on Satrday. One 4x100m Relay per gender/per team is allowed, and up to two 4x400m relays may be entered per gender/per team.

    C. Minimum marks or hard lines will be established for the field events, based upon the entries. These will be published after entries are due on the week of the meet.

    D. Unattached entries through your team is possible, but please, no post-collegians.

    E. Multiple event athletes are discouraged from entering too many events. We will not hold up the meet to accommodate them.

    Meet Location:
    Fletcher Garner Track is located in Homer Bryce Stadium on the campus of Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. The 8-lane track is a Tartan surface installed by APS. This synthetic surface meets all NCAA and IAAF guidelines. 

    Scoring:
    This is a scored meet and will score 8 places: 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Each team may score up to 4 places.

    Entries: 
    All entries must be submitted through DirectAthletics (www.DirectAthletics.com).

    Entries may be added, changed or updated by 11:50 p.m., Tuesday, April 1. All entries, changes and updates are due/done/final by 11:59 p.m., Tuesday, April 1 via the Direct Athletics website. SFA Track and Field is not responsible for your failure to submit completed entries by the deadline. All other questions regarding this entry procedure need to be made no later than noon Monday, April 1.

    Entry Fee:
    $200.00 per team (men and women’s teams are considered separate). Payment is expected at the time of packet pick-up. We ask for cash ONLY please (payment of officials).

    Qualifying:
    There will be no preliminary heats in the running events. If numbers dictate, heats will be drawn by time and run slow to fast. In the field events, the Top 8 will advance to the finals. All NCAA regulations will be followed.

    Packet Pick-up: 
    Coaches may pick up their packets on Friday, April 4th, at the Timers Trailer near the finish line prior to the Field Events or the Distance Carnival. Packet Pick-up may also be made Saturday, April 5th beginning at 8:00 am

    Results:
    Results will be posted on the concourse level of the stadium above the pole vault pit on the gray wall. Results will also be posted on sfajacks.com following the meet.

    Parking:
    Parking will be available in the small lot next the athletic fieldhouse and in the parking lot next to the Ag Pond at the south end of the stadium. 

    Warm-ups:
    Warm-ups will be allowed on the infield prior to their events. NO TEAM CAMPS, HOWEVER, WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE INFIELD.

    Athlete Check-in:
    Running Event Athletes should check in with the Clerking Tent at least 15 minutes prior to their event for their Hip Numbers. The Clerking Tent is located under the tent at the South endzone of the Stadium. Field Event Athletes should check in at least 45 minutes prior to beginning of the event.

    Implement Weigh-Ins:
    Weigh-ins should be completed at least one (1) hour prior to the beginning of competition.
    Your athlete's failure to check in their implements in this timeframe will affect their abilityt to throw those implements. Weigh-ins will take place in the Track Shed next to the tunnel outside the stadium.

    Shower/Dressing Facilities:
    There will be no shower or dressing facilities available. Athletes may use the bathroom facilities at the northeast and northwest corner of the stadium. 

    Team Camps:
    All Team Camps can be set up on the backstretch side of the stadium in the stands, or outtside the south side of the stadium outside the gates, between the entryway and the Ag Pond. NO TEAM CAMPS on the INFIELD or under the TUNNEL.

    Training Area:
    A full training staff will be available under the tunnel at the northeast corner of Homer Bryce Stadium. However, if not using the training areas, we ask that teams keep the tunnel area clear

    Awards:
    T-shirts will be awarded to event champions and will be available at the awards table on the 50-yard line on the home stretch.

    Special Meet Rules:

    1. No Team Camps on the Infield.
    2. The tunnel must be kept clear of teams to allow for vehicles to go to and from Homer Bryce Stadium.
