SFA track and field travels to Norman, Okla.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas -
The Stephen F. Austin men's and women's track and field team returns to action Saturday when it travels to Norman, Okla., to compete in the J.D. Martin/OU Invitational. The meet will be SFA's final warm-up before the Southland Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships the following week in Norman, Okla.
SFA is coming off a successful trip to Ames, Iowa, that saw SFA record a school record and four individual titles. The Lumberjacks have recorded two school records during the 2013 indoor season. Senior Jon Arthur has the new benchmark in the shot put, while junior Cass Brown-Stewart owns the school's record in the 400-meter dash.
The SFA men's and women's track and field teams return to action Friday, Feb. 22, when they will return to action for the opening day of competition in the Southland Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships. The Ladyjacks have won four-straight indoor titles, and eight consecutive overall (four indoor and four outdoor).
