As a Junior: Played in 45 games for the Lumberjacks, starting in 36... his 12 stolen bases rank fourth for a season and are eighth all-time at SFA... batted. 229 off 33 hits... scored 23 runs and knocked in 14 with five doubled and two home runs... had a career-high three hits three times, including a 3-5 showing with one RBI and four runs scored at Louisiana-Monroe (3/11)...went 3-5 with a career-high three RBI and a run scored against UALR (2/4)... went 3-4 against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (5/7).
Junior College: Led off and played two years at Navarro Junior College under head coach Skip Johnson... hit .469 as a sophomore, finishing just one point shy of the school record... guided team to the 2004 conference title ... recorded 45 hits, four home runs and drove in 26 RBI during conference play... also had a .526 on-base percentage and a .604 slugging percentage in conference play... a Dean's List student.
High School: A two-year letterwinner at Newman Smith High School... earned all-district honors as a junior and senior... recipient of the 2001 Trojan Award... guided his prep squad to a state semi-regional appearance in 2001 and the state regional finals in 2002... during the summer of 2003 played in the FCIL in Bradenton, Fla.... selected as a starter to the South All-Star team after leading the league in hitting at the all-star break.
