    2009: Started off year as pitcher, making 10 appearances and three starts before moving into the everyday lineup midway through the season and making 22 starts at second base and in left field ... hit .370 with four home runs and 26 RBI in only 92 at-bats for the year, slugging .576 ... took loss but only allowed two runs in 6.1 innings in a start at then No. 4 Texas A&M (3/3) ... got start on the mound and in lineup at Louisiana-Lafayette and responded with the bat, going 2-for-5 with two RBI that included a two-run home run for his first career hit (4/14) ... got at least one hit in 19 of his final 22 games to close out the season, driving in at least one run in 12 of those games with nine multi-RBI games ... started 10-game hit streak with 4-for-4 outing that included a double and three RBI against UTPA (4/15) ... had back-to-back three-hit games against UTA and Dallas Baptist, going 6-for-9 with five RBI in those games (4/26-4/27) ... hit two home runs with three RBI in win at Southeastern La.
