    2008: Selected in the 33rd round of the MLB Draft by the St. Louis Cardinals ... posted a 4-0 record with a 2.01 ERA in his final four appearances of the season ... tied Erik Gregersen for the team lead with 62 strikeouts, tied for 14th in SLC ... posted a team-best .288 opponent's batting average ... tied Lance Luetge for team lead with six wins ... picked up first complete game of career against Texas-Arlington, allowing only one run on six hits with six stikeouts in a 9-1 SFA win (5/11) ... allowed only two runs in seven innings to pick up win over Texas State, sealing an SFA three-game sweep (5/4).

    2007: Made 19 appearances on the year, earning his only start at Prairie View A&M (2/21) ... had best performance of the year when he went four shutout innings with three strikeouts in relief to pick up his first career save against Nicholls State (4/27) ... picked up the win in a 20-4 drubbing of Centenary after pitching two innings, giving up no runs with three strikeouts (3/13) ... got the final out of the sixth inning to preserve teh `Jacks lead and land another win in a 4-3 victory over Dallas Baptist ... had a career-high five strikeouts in 3.2 innings at Baylor (2/16) ... gave up only one home run in 26.1 innings pitched.

    Junior College: Played at northwestern State from 2004-05 and spent the spring of 2006 at Texarkana Junior College.

    High School: Was a four-year letterwinner for coach Mike Compton at Central High School in Pollok, Texas ... played pitcher and shortstop ... was named first-team all-district as a sophomore, junior and senior ... was a member of the Pollok National Honor Society.
