What To Watch For
- SFA has dominated this series since bringing baseball back, winning each of the six games the teams have played since 2008. The `Jacks' offense has feasted on HBU pitching in that span, scoring at least nine runs in four of the six contests. The Huskies have only managed to score more than five runs against the `Jacks on one occassion.
- The `Jacks have trailed in five of their first six games, while coming back to tie or take the lead in each of those five games.
- Tanner Hines, Ryan Priest and Jarid Scarafiotti have each picked up at least one hit in every game they have played so far this season. Hines and Priest each have six-game streaks, while Scarafiotti has hit safely in all five of the games he has played in. First baseman Darren Crabtree has also managed to reach base at least twice in each of his first six games as a Lumberjack.
- Look for the Lumberjacks to be aggressive on the basepaths against the Huskies on Tuesday as HBU has already allowed 10 stolen bases in 11 tries to opponents. The `Jacks have already established themselves as one of the most aggressive teams in the SLC in steals as they already lead the league in swipes with 14 in six games, including four from leadoff man Garrett Smith, which is tops in the league.
