Free tickets are available for fans to pick up at locations of any member of the Chamber of Commerce for Saturday’s action at William R. Johnson Coliseum.

The basketball doubleheader is set to tip off at 4 p.m. with the Ladyjacks taking on Northwestern State. The men’s team will play afterward with an anticipated start time of 6 p.m.

The women will be looking to avenge a loss earlier this season at Northwestern State, and the men look to extend their home winning streak to 31 games. The Lumberjacks’ current streak of 30 consecutive home wins is tied for first in the nation with Duke. The No. 5 Blue Devils host the No. 1 Syracuse Orange on Saturday at 6 p.m.

A number of promotions are also scheduled for fans with the opportunity to win lots of cash courtesy of Citizen’s 1st Bank.

Student organizations can win $200 for their group with a Citizen’s 1st Bank Double Show for Dough in play. The student organization with the most members signed in and in attendance at the games will receive $200 near the end of the men’s game.

Citizen’s 1st Bank is giving away $1,000 to one lucky fan as well. Fans can sign up for the drawing at the game with a winner being announced during the men’s game. The winner must be present at the time of the drawing to win.

A $1,000 cash scramble, also sponsored by Citizen’s 1st Bank, will take place during halftime of the men’s game. Ten lucky students will be selected at random to grab as much cash on the court as they can in 60 seconds.

Saturday’s games also will be the annual Student Activities Association Purple Out. The first 1,500 students at the game will receive a free T-shirt. All fans wearing purple will receive free admission to both games as well.

Fans also should be on the lookout for a special guest speaker during the men’s game.
