First Men's Basketball Camp Begins Sunday
June 17, 2014
Session I is the first of three camps scheduled across the summer. Underwood will also conduct a High School/AAU Team Camp from June 27-28 and Session II - Day Camp from July 29-August 1.
The session camps will stress fundamentals with a heavy emphasis on the skills of shooting, dribbling, passing and team play. The camps will adhere to a 10-1 camper-coach ratio, which provides for a safe and well-supervised learning environment.
The daily schedule includes a balanced mix of drills, contests and games, which allows for a fun-filled learning experience. During team play, unselfish basketball, team offense and team defense will be emphasized. More importantly, campers will have an opportunity to learn valuable life skills and develop relationships.
It is the goal of the Brad Underwood Basketball Camps to assist each camper in becoming the best they can be both on and off the court.
Children of SFA faculty/staff are eligible for a 20 percent discount to either session.
Underwood will also be hosting a High School/AAU Team Camp, which will consist of games, skill development sessions and late-game situations.
