Adam Federle is in his first season as an assistant coach on the SFA staff, overseeing the Lumberjacks' defensive ends while serving as SFA's recruiting coordinator.
Federle joins the Lumberjack football staff from Lexington, Kentucky where he spent the last season working with Kentucky's special teams and defensive units. Federle spent a season with both Northwestern State (2012) and West Alabama (2011) previously, working with the defensive units at both institutions.
Federle worked two separate stints at Arkansas State, the first as a graduate assistant (2006-08) and then as a defensive line coach in 2010. Between those two stints, Federle worked with coach Conque at Central Arkansas in 2009 as the tackles coach and recruiting coordinator.
The Allen native was a three-year starter at linebacker at Ouachita Baptist, attaining his degree in political science in 2006 before earning his master's degree in public administration from Arkansas State in 2008.
