'Jacks Lose Shoot-out 52-41 to Sam Houston

Before a homecoming crowd of 13,473 at Homer Bryce Stadium, the Lumberjacks lost an offensive shoot-out 52-41 to fall to 3-3, 0-2 and in Southland Football League play.
Atlanta senior Derrick Blaylock led the way for the 'Jacks as he chalked up 204 yards on 28 carries, and added two touchdowns. SFA gained 276 yards on the ground against the Bearkats.
Sam Houston countered Blaylock with quarterback Albert Bradley. Bradley threw for 289 yards and four touchdowns in leading the Sam Houston offense. Bradley also added 72 yards on the ground.
The Lumberjacks had 559 yards of total offense, Sam Houston piled up 460.
SFA returns to action next week in Thibodaux, Louisiana against Nicholls State.
