Wiggs Receives Another National Honor

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Just 24 hours after being named Southland Conference Special Teams Player of the Week, sophomore Jordan Wiggs has received another weekly honor. The Grand Prairie, Texas, native has been named Beyond Sports College Network Special Teams Player of the Week announced publication officials Tuesday morning.
Wiggs was key in the Lumberjacks' victory over Lamar. Wiggs was a perfect 4-of-4 on field goals Saturday night in rainy conditions. He was also perfect on extra-point attempts. Wiggs' 16 points was the difference in the game as the 'Jacks posted a 40-26 decision.
One of the hottest kickers in the country, Wiggs has connected on eight consecutive, 13 of his last 14 field goals attempt, after opening the year with three-straight misses. He enters Saturday's game against Southeastern Louisiana ranked among the nation's top 10 in made field goals.
