SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin men's golf team could only manage a 306 Sunday afternoon, and enter the second round of the Lone Star Invitational tied for 13th place overall on the par-72 Hill Country Resort Golf Club.

The Lumberjacks received strong first rounds for senior Mitchell McLeroy and sophomore Blake Pugh, but was unable to put anyone else around them. McLeroy finished the day tied for 11th with a 72, while Pugh is tied for 18th only a stroke back.

After Pugh is where the trouble set in for SFA. Their final three players combined for a 33-over par, and only one of the three posted a sub-80 round.

The 'Jacks will look to improve their score when they return to the course Monday morning at 8:57. Sophomore Cody Wing will be the first SFA player to tee off from the 10th tee.
