May 6, 2013
Senior golfer Mitchell McLeroy will play in the Fayetteville Regional announced NCAA officials Monday evening. McLeroy is one of five individuals who will play in the 14-team region.
"I'm very proud of Mitchell," said head coach Trey Schroeder. "This is a big accomplishment for him to make it back to Regionals for a second year in a row. It was very frustrating for him not to be able to compete at conference (due to an illness), so I know he is extremely eager to get back out on the course and show what he is capable of."
McLeroy will be in Fayetteville, Ark., from Thursday, May 16 through Saturday, May 18, competing on the The Blessing Golf Course. McLeroy is one of two Southland players in the regional (Pep Angles - Central Arkansas).
