LAST TIME OUT: Porsha Roberts scored 16 points and had 13 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the season but it was not enough to avoid a 63-56 loss to Oral Roberts Saturday afternoon at the Mabee Center. The Ladyjacks, who wrapped up a stretch of five games in nine days, were plagued by 19 turnovers that led to 16 points for the Golden Eagles. Three Golden Eagles scored in double-figures, led by a game-high 20 points by Christian Key.

60 IS THE MAGIC NUMBER: The number 60 has proven to be a key mark for the Ladyjacks. When SFA allows less than 60 points they are 4-1. On the flip side, SFA is now 0-6 when they score 60 points or less in a game. SFA also fell to 2-9 when they trail at halftime.

BENCH PRODUCTION: SFA’s bench has outscored its oppnents in 13 of 16 games this season and by an average of 21.8-12.5 per game.

I CAN SEE FOR MILES, MILES, MILES: SFA just wrapped up a stretch of five games in 10 days and three in five days. Last week’s road trip that included Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Central Arkansas and Oral Roberts spanned just over 1,600 miles.

PRESEASON PICKS: SFA was picked to finish second in the Southland Conference Preseason Coaches Poll and fourth in the Sports Information Directors Poll.
