    NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack basketball team improved to .500 on the season after wins over Lamar and Sam Houston State. SFA (7-7/7-0) will place its seven-game win streak on the line Wednesday in San Antonio, Texas. The Ladyjacks will square off against the Roadrunners at 6 p.m., in the Convocation Center. The Ladyjacks will be back in Nacogdoches Saturday for a 4 p.m., tilt against Texas-Arlington. The game against UTA will be played at the William R. Johnson Coliseum.

    SFA vs. the Roadrunners The Ladyjacks are 25-1 (.962) all-time against Texas-San Antonio. SFA swept the season series last year and has won 25-straight games between the two teams. The only UTSA victory in the series came inn the first meeting between the two schools, when the Roadrunners walked away with a 76-67 victory (1986-87).

    SFA vs. the Mavericks The Ladyjacks lead the all-time series against Texas-Arlington, 38-3 (.927). SFA has won the last seven meetings and 16 of the last 17 against the Mavericks. The Ladyjacks picked up a 78-55 decision over UTA to close out the 2001-02 regular season.

    Home Sweet Home The Ladyjacks are one of the all-time winningest teams at home, with an all-time record of 312-72 (.813), including a perfect 13-0 record last season. The Ladyjacks have now won 46 of their last 49 games in the William R. Johnson Coliseum. The last time SFA lost a home game in Southland Conference play was an 88-77 setback to Sam Houston State during the 1998-99 season. The Ladyjacks are 4-1 (.800) this season at home.

    Tradition of Winning The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack basketball program has been one of the most dominant in women's basketball history. SFA is among the nation's all-time top 10 with 721 wins. The Ladyjacks are also among the all-time top 10 with a .754 winning percentage (721-235). Over the course of the past four seasons, SFA won 95 games. The 95 wins ranked 15th in the country during that stretch.

    Tradition of Winning in the SLC As dominant as the Ladyjacks have been nationally, they have been just as dominant in the Southland Conference. The Ladyjacks have been the conference's most dominant team, compiling a 241-20 (.923) all-time record. SFA has won 14 of a possible 15 SLC tournament titles and 13 regular-season championships. The Ladyjacks have also recorded four undefeated seasons in league play and have had 33 players named All-SLC.

    The Streak The Ladyjacks current seven-game win streak is their longest of the season. It is also the Southland Conference's longest current winning streak.

    Wright of Way Senior Nathesia Wright led the Ladyjacks with a perfect 4-of-4 performance from beyond the three-point arc against the Bearkats. The four treys tied Wright for the eighth-best day in school history. The 4-of-4 performance tied Wright with former Ladyjack Dayna (Reed) Westbrook as the best performance in school history (Feb. 23, 1991).
