NACOGDOCHES, Texas -
Stephen F. Austin Athletics, in conjunction with the Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce, will sponsor Cram the Coliseum this week with a pair of SFA basketball home games. The Ladyjacks take on Sam Houston State at home Wednesday, while the Lumberjacks host Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Saturday. Both games are full of promotions aimed at SFA students and the Nacogdoches community.
Wednesday's game against the Bearkats is set for a 7 p.m. start. Saturday's game begins at 2 p.m. and will be broadcast live on SLC-TV, the Southland Conference's television network.
Chamber members are distributing Cram the Coliseum tickets to the public. The tickets are free and good for admission to either game. To get tickets, contact a Chamber member or click here to download and print a ticket.
SFA foam fingers and rally towels will be given away at the door both nights. Fans can also participate in The Ultimate Fan Challenge at both games. The SFA fan decked out in the craziest, most original Lumberjack gear will win a prize provided by one of five sponsors; Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwiches, Fuddruckers, Clear Springs, Schlotzsky's or Wing Stop.
Additionally, Omega Delta Kappa, a national leadership honor society, will hold a "Knock Out the Islanders" shooting contest at halftime of Saturday's game. SFA students will compete in a game of knock-out with a signed SFA team ball on the line.
