NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks head coach Brandon Schneider announced the signing of Brentney Branch (Clear Creek HS -Webster, Texas), Alexis Fatheree (Foster HS - Richmond, Texas) and Adrienne Lewis (Desoto HS - Desoto, Texas) to National Letters of Intent Wednesday afternoon as part of the early signing class.

Branch, a 5'6" point guard, averaged 20 points, five assists and three steals per game as a junior at Clear Creek High School. Branch was first-team all-district, all-region, Texas Association of Basketball Coaches All-State and the 24-5A Offensive Player of the Year. Dan Olson's, The Collegiate Basketball Report", ranks Branch #129 overall in the nation and the 26th-best point guard in the country.

Branch comes from a proven athletic bloodline. Her grandfather is former Oakland Raiders three-time Super Bowl champion and four-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Cliff Branch. Her father Brent also played at Colorado University and ran track and field.

"Brentney has all the attributes you look for in a point/combo guard," Schneider said. "She can get to and finish at the rim with both hands, she has a great mid-range game, and is a consistent threat from beyond the arch. But most importantly, as it relates to our program, she is a tough competitor and hates to lose."

Fatheree, a 5'9" guard/forward, averaged 18 points, 11 rebounds and four steals per game as a junior at Foster High School. Fatheree was a 23-4A MVP, first-team all-district, Fort Bend Area MVP, TABC All-Region and Texas Girls Coaches Association All-State. She is ranked the 17th-best player overall in Texas according to Premier Basketball Report.

"Lexi is a "basketball player" and it's obvious she is a coach's kid," Schneider said. "She is extremely fundamentally sound and has an off the charts feel for the game. We will be able to play her four different positions if need be. To use a baseball analogy, she's a five-tool player.  Her skill level will allow her to make an impact early in her career."

Lewis, a 6'1" center, averaged six points and five rebounds as a junior at Desoto High School. Lewis will also participate as a thrower for the SFA track and field team.

"We feel like we stole one with Adrienne," Schneider said. "She flew under the radar a bit on the recruiting scene, but has played with and against some of the best players our state has to offer while at Desoto High School. She has a strong, college-ready body and we witnessed tremendous improvement in regards to her skill level. With her work ethic and dedication, she will develop into a force in the paint for our program."
