    NACOGDOCHES, Texas –
The Stephen F. Austin women’s basketball team hits the road for a mid-week nonconference game on Wednesday night looking to take down another member of a power six conference. The Ladyjacks will tangle with the TCU Horned Frogs at 7 p.m. in Fort Worth with a victory over a Big 12 Conference opponent on their minds.

The Ladyjacks (3-4) took down Arizona from the Pac-12 earlier this season on the road, marking their first win over a team from one of the power six conferences since 2007. TCU (4-3) is undefeated at home this season with victories over ULM, Texas State and Grambling State.

SFA is heading into the game following a 1-1 performance last weekend at the David Jones Memorial Classic in Houston. The Ladyjacks defeated Prairie View A&M by the score of 76-70 to open the tournament and finished with a tight loss to Kent State, 54-52.

TCU is led by guard Zahna Medley. The sophomore is averaging 17.7 points per game and leads the team with 4.3 assists per game to get her teammates involved in the scoring. Natalie Ventress and Donielle Breaux are both scoring at least 9.0 points per game to give Medley some help in scoring for the Horned Frogs.

Wednesday’s game will be aired on FOX College Sports, channel 510 on Suddlink in Nacogodches. Fans can also get live stats online at sfajacks.com and get updates on Twitter by following the @SFA_WBB handle.

The Ladyjacks will close this week’s action on the road at ULM at 2 p.m. Sunday.
