JONESBORO, Ark. - The No. 13 Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks bowling team continued their impressive showing, going 4-1 in quad baker play Saturday, on day two of the ASU Mid-Winter Invitational at the Jonesboro Bowling Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

The Ladyjacks (31-16) beat Prairie View A&M (912-845), No. 9 Wisconsin-Whitewater (1003-888), Texas Southern (918-832) and No. 4 Sam Houston (1033-904).

SFA’s lone loss came to No. 6 Nebraska (857-959) in its second match of the day. The defeat is the team’s first loss of the 2013 calendar year, as the ‘Jacks are 9-1 after two days in the lane.

SFA will enter the final day of competition in fifth place Sunday. The last day of the tournament will be a best of seven bracket play.
