No. 9 Ladyjacks Lead the Way After Day One

HACKENSACK, Nj – The No. 9 Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks sit in first place after day one of the FDU Jamboree at Parkway Lanes. SFA (13-4) went 4-1 on Friday with three of their wins coming against top-15 ranked teams.

The Ladyjacks opened Baker play with an 827-732 win over No. 11 Adelphi. SFA dropped match two with a close loss to No. 14 Valparaiso 742-763. The Ladyjacks bounced back with wins over Long Island (689-643) and No. 2 Vanderbilt (812-794), before topping No. 12 Kutztown 869-804 to close the day.

SFA is currently in first place with a total pin fall of 3,939. Fairleigh Dickinson, Arkansas State, Wisconsin-Whitewater, and Vanderbilt round out the top five.
