    HUNTSVILLE, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks bowling team went 2-3 in quad baker play Friday as they opened play the second annual Track Kat Klash at Huntsville Lanes.

    The Ladyjacks defeated Long Island University, 810-733 and Louisiana Tech, 863-729. SFA dropped games to No. 4 Vanderbilt 875-702, Texas Southern 726-657 and Alabama-Birmingham 709-655.

    SFA (19-10) entered the tournament ranked No. 10 in NCAA Division I women's bowling. Eight of the 16 teams in the event stand in the top 20. Along with Vanderbilt is No. 2 Arkansas State, No. 5 Nebraska, No. 8 Sam Houston State, No. 9 Valparasio, No. 14 Wisconsin-Whitewater and No. 17 Prairie View A&M.

    Bowl.com is streaming all three days action live all weekend at www.bowl.com. The schedule for the Track Kat Klash calls traditional team matches on day two and bracket play best of seven Baker competition on the final day.

    Tournament action will run from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.
