NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks bowling team was ranked ninth in the nation in the final regular season National Ten Pin Coaches Association poll released on Monday, maintaining their previous ranking from March.
SFA (66-39) earned 330 points in the adjusted standings and finished just outside the top eight when the NCAA Selection Show announced its finalists two weeks ago. The top eight rankings mirror the recent NCAA announcement for this week's national championship in Canton, Mich.
The Ladyjacks will conclude the 2012-13 season when they compete at the Intercollegiate Team Championships Apr. 18-21 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Last year the Ladyjacks advanced all the way to the semifinals of the same tournament as the No. 15 seed.
