Greater Ozark Standings
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -The Stephen F. Austin women's bowling team finished fourth (7-6 record) at the Greater Ozark Invitational after the final round of play on Sunday. At tournament's end SFA knocked down 11954 total pins.
Chelsea King was the team leader with 995 pins for an average of 199 in 11 matches played. Overall the Ladyjacks played 41 Baker Games with an average of 181.2.
SFA went 2-1 on the final day of competition in three Baker Games, defeating Louisiana Tech (941-794) and Central Missouri (1130-1111) and falling to Sam Houston State (949-809).
On Saturday SFA beat SHSU (935-909) in a team game, marking the first time in school history. They also beat Louisiana Tech (991-894) and Central Missouri (898-817).
The 13th ranked Ladyjacks, now 7-8 overall on the season, will return to action next weekend to take part in the Fairleigh Dickinson University Jamboree in Elmwood Park, N.J.
