Erica Lautensack will begin competing for SFA this fall

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Stephen F. Austin women's golf signee Erica Lautensack defended her title at the Fort Worth Junior Girls Championship Wednesday, winning the event by an impressive 13-strokes with a 10-over 220. Lautensack claimed the 2013 title as well, winning by 15 shots over her nearest competitor.
Playing at Mira Vista Country Club, Lautensack fired an even-par 70 over the final 18 holes, shaving seven shots off her 7-over 77 in round two. The Arlington native opened up the 54-hole tournament with a 3-over 73 Monday.
Lautensack will begin competing for the Ladyjacks this fall, earning four varsity letters at Arlington High School. A three-time district champion, she is ranked 108th nationally in the class of 2014 with a handful of individual tournament titles to her credit.
