    NACOGDOCHES - The SFA Ladyjack soccer team and the Centenary Ladies displayed a great defensive effort that ended in a one-all tie in double overtime Sunday afternoon at the SFA Intramural Complex.

    Centenary scored the games first goal in the 60th minute when Tara Sageser received a pass from Mindi Levinski and scored from 5 yards out on the left side.

    The Ladyjacks mounted a late rally when Shahin Pabani scored a goal off a rebound from the cross bar in the 87th minute. The overtime frames continued to be a defensive battle as neither team could muster another goal.

    Junior goalkeeper Natascia Michalezki had another solid outing recording eight saves in 110 minutes of action.

    With the tie, SFA moves to 1-2-1, while the Ladies fall 4-0-1.

    The Ladyjacks return to action Friday Sept. 17, when they travel to Dallas, Texas, to take on St. Mary's (Calif.)
