    GOALKEEPERS
Returning: Lacey Lee, Morgan Glick, Alex Marciante

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Behind the strength of a tremendous defensive backline, the 2011 goalkeeping tandem of Lacy Lee (1579 minutes) and Morgan Glick (150 minutes) did not have too many opportunities to make plays on shots on goal.

However, when the rare occasion did arise for the either to make a play, both were tremendous at preventing goals. Lee allowed just eight goals overall in 19 starts with 46 saves for a goals against average of 0.46, setting the single-season school record, as well as an .852 save percentage.

Lee was selected first-team all-conference and twice named the SLC Goalkeeper of the Week. She was a huge reason why the Ladyjacks set a new school record with 12 shutouts en route to a conference record one goal allowed throughout league play.

Lee, a native of Bedford, Texas, will start the season as the number one keeper based off her experience and the amount of time assistant coach Paul Nagy has devoted to.

Waiting in the wings behind Lee is sophomore Morgan Glick, who appeared in six contests last season while recording five saves. Glick, a native of Boerne, Texas, is an athletic keeper who's main focus this offseason was to work with Nagy on communication with the defense.

Redshirt freshman Alex Marciante rounds out the strong goalkeeping unit. The Keller, Texas native has worked incredibly hard during training camp and has impressed the coaching staff with her vast improvement over the past season.
