NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack soccer team tied 1-1 in double overtime of their final game of the 2000 season against the University of Louisiana-Monroe Lady Indians.
Plano goalie, Elizabeth Evatt, played all 120:00 and had 10 saves and only one goal against her. Evatt had two saves in the first half, six saves in the second half and two saves in the second overtime.
The first and game tieing goal was made by freshman forward, Nicole Horn at 43:44 and was unassisted. Horn also lead the team in shots, she had seven shots and seven shots on goal.
The Ladyjacks had 19 shots and 14 shots on goal during the match. Austin freshman, Angela Rocco had three shots and two shots on goal. Freshman midfielder, Allison Lawerence, had two shots and two shots on goal. Midland sophomore, Kimberly Elger, had two shots and one shot on goal.
The leading shooters for the 2000 season are Horn with 28 shots, Anna Steed and Rocco with 18 shots and Kimberly Elger with 16 shots. The leading scorer was Steed with six goals and 13 points. The Ladyjacks finished the season at 4-12-2 overall and 3-7-2 in conference play.
