A New Era is Born: On Jan. 28, 2013, former Texas A&M assistant Wally Crittenden was named the eighth Stephen F. Austin head soccer coach in school history. Crittenden replaces Tony Amato who stepped down last December to become the head coach at the University of Arizona. Crittenden has spent the past three seasons in College Station assisting a nationally ranked Texas A&M team that has recorded a combined 52-16-6 (.743) record.

It marks the third consecutive year the Ladyjacks have been selected to finish first in the Southland in either one of the two polls. SFA received 11 first-place votes in both the coaches and SID's polls to earn a total of 143 points in each poll.

Title Town: The SFA women's soccer program has brought an unprecedented seven Southland Conference regular-season championships back to Nacogdoches. That total is nearly half of the 15 possible regular-season titles in SLC Soccer history.
