Louw Chosen A 2012 NSCAA All-American

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - One day after being named to the 2012 Capital One Academic All-America Women’s Soccer Second Team, senior midfielder Kylie Louw was honored yet again by being named to the 2012 NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division I Women All-America Second team on Friday.
The Discovery, South Africa native is coming off a season in which she was named the Southland Conference Player of the Year for a record third consecutive season and played a major role in guiding the Ladyjacks to an SLC regular season and tournament title.
SFA finished the season with a school-record 17 victories and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2007 before falling to Texas A&M, 1-0 in the first round.
Louw set the all-time SFA points record with an assist for her 92nd career point against Sam Houston on Oct. 19, 2012. Louw was third in the nation in both total assists (13) and assists per game (0.65).
In the classroom Louw had a 3.789 GPA while majoring in Kinesiology in grad school and earned a spot on the 2012 Capital One All-Academic Soccer District VII First Team by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
