NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Three of SFA's four fall signees were selected to take part in the Greater Houston Volleyball Coaches Association All-Star Tournament, scheduled for Feb. 5 at Pearland High School.

Katzy Randall (Magnolia HS), Paige Holland (Magnolia HS) and Jill Ivy (Seven Lakes HS) will all take part in the event. All athletes in the event must be nominated by their high school coach, with both Holland and Ivy being placed on the team coached by their high school instructor.

Holland will set for the Houston East Coaches team after a year in which she led MHS to the Class 4A regional tournament and finished her high school career ranked in the top three all-time in the nation in assists. One of her main targets in high school was Randall, who will suit up for the North squad.

Ivy, an outside hitter from Katy's Seven Lakes High School, is slated to take part in the event for the West team. She was a first team all-District 19-5A selection and was rated as one of the top 30 players in all of Houston after a career in which she set nearly every statistical record at SVHS.

Each of the athletes signed on with SFA in the Fall signing period and is scheduled to be on the Ladyjack roster in 2011.
