NACOGDOCHES - Together with rain and wind, Hurricane Rita brought hundreds of evacuees from the Gulf Coast region to Nacogdoches and the William R. Johnson Coliseum forcing the Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks to move to the Shelton Gymnasium.

The Ladyjacks will try to get back on track against Northwestern State Tuesday, Sept. 26 at 7 p.m. at the Shelton Gym after Hurricane Rita forced SFA to postpone or cancel four games. The Ladyjacks' match against Texas-Arlington has been postponed for a later date and the Nike/Courtyard Marriott Invitational at TCU was cancelled.

Shelton Gym will be home to the Ladyjacks indefinitely as hundreds of evacuees are being housed at the Johnson Coliseum.

On Friday, Sept. 30, the Ladyjacks will face Sam Houston State at Shelton Gym. The match is slated for a 7 p.m. start.
