Chris Smith is entering his sixth season with the Lumberjack program in 2022 and serves as a secondary assistant and the Director of Player Development. Smith joined Coach Carthel's staff after a successful playing career at Texas A&M-Commerce where he was apart of the 2017 NCAA Division II National Championship Team.
