TUCSON, Ariz. - Stephen F. Austin's Steven Hill became SFA's second-consecutive baseball All-American as he was one of 17 collegiate baseball players named to the Louisville Slugger All-American first-team Wednesday morning, announced Collegiate Baseball newspaper.
Hill, a senior from Houston, was named the Southland Conference's Player and Hitter of the Year after a stellar performance from the plate. Of the 11 position players on the first-team, Hill led with 73 RBI and struck out the least with only 24 Ks. His 24 home runs finished third in the nation.
