NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- The remainder of the 2019 Carl Kight Invitational has been canceled due to inclement weather and time constraints. The meet had initially been delayed till this afternoon but a re-evaluation of the teams and schedule were the determining factor in calling off the meet.
The morning session of field events was unaffected by weather and ran as planned. Raylie Huff finished third for SFA in the women's triple jump with a mark of 11.68m (38-4). Maggie Okul took second in the hammer throw with a mark of 51.90m (170-3) , while teammates Bellodgia Roberson (45.08m/147-10) and Riley Cross (42.33m/138-10) took fourth and fifth, respectively.
Competing unattached in the men's hammer throw was Trenton Bridges, who won the event with a mark of 57.19m (187-7), a new personal best.
