AUSTIN, Texas – Freshman pole vaulter Branson Ellis added to an impressive freshman campaign at SFA on Wednesday at the 2019 NCAA Championship in Austin. The Tyler, Texas native earned All-American Second Team honors by finishing 11thamong the field on the meet's opening day, marking his second All-American plaudit of the season. Ellis cleared the bar at 5.50m (18-5), finishing tied for 11thoverall among a very competitive pole vault field.
The SFA women's vaulter duo of Nastassja Campbell and Madison Pecot will get underway tomorrow afternoon at 7:30 p.m., while the Ladyjack's 4x400 relay team will run their prelims race at 10:18 p.m. tomorrow evening.
