Sophomore (22-23): Appeared in 26 games, averaged 12.5 minutes/game, while averaging 4.0 rebounds, 0.8 assists, and 3.9 points/game. Posted a double-double on a season high 15 points, season high 15 rebounds, and two steals in 26 minutes against UTRGV (2/9/23).

Freshman (21-22): Averaged 5.1 minutes/game, started in one game, averaging 2.0 rebounds and 2.2 points/game. Posted a season high 10 points on 5/8 against Arlington Baptist (11/20/21). Pulled down a season high 10 rebounds in a game against Our Lady of The Lake (12/04/21), and recorded a season high five blocks against Sam Houston (1/15/22).

High School
Nelson averaged 17.2 points and 10 rebounds coming out of high school...once completed a triple-double (14 points, 15 rebounds, 12 assists)....Guided her team to an impressive record over her four years at Hendrickson High School (124-24)....was awarded numerous athletic awards in her decorated career, named the Central Texas Player of the Year by the Austin-American Statesman in 2021....Other accolades include 3x UIL All-Region, UIL All-State Team, and District MVP.

Zoe is the daughter of Ava and David Nelson and is sister to brother David and sister Asia, and is currently a Junior at SFA studying Psychology.
