NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- The Lumberjacks of Stephen F. Austin posted the 18th win of the season Thursday night with an impressive 76-45 win over UT-San Antonio. The win moved the `Jacks to 14-3 in Southland Conference play, and into a tie in the loss column with Sam Houston following Sam Houston's overtime loss to UL-Monroe Thursday night, in Monroe.
Taylor Moore came within a rebound of posting his first career double-double as he led the Lumberjacks with 12 points and also led the team with nine rebounds. Moore played 26 minutes against the Roadrunners after Percy Green went to the bench with two fouls early in the first half. Green also left the game with just under six minutes to play after injuring an ankle. Moore took advantage of the opportunity in posting his career highs in both points and rebounds.
Marcus Clark added 9 off the bench, all nine coming in the first half, Ben Hunt also added 10 for the Lumberjacks, and Percy Green got back into double figures with an 11-point night.
The SLC's leading scorer, LeRoy Hurd was held to only four points in 32 minutes of action. He did post a game high 10 rebounds for UTSA. Robert Ivy was the only Roadrunner to break into double digits with 10 points off the bench.
